Synopsis
The series is set in Italy during a pivotal time of political upheaval known as Tangentopoli, the early 1990s corruption scandal that shook the country. The story follows six characters from different social and professional backgrounds as they navigate the consequences of this major political crisis. Their lives intertwine as the country grapples with the fallout from widespread corruption investigations led by the Mani Pulite (“Clean Hands”) operation.
