Synopsis
Charlie Heller (Rami Malek) is a highly gifted but introverted CIA cryptographer whose world is shattered after his wife Sarah (Rachel Brosnahan) is killed in a terrorist attack in London.
When the CIA refuses to pursue justice, Charlie blackmails the agency into training him as a field operative under mentor Robert “Hendo” Henderson (Laurence Fishburne). Armed with intelligence and unconventional tactics, he embarks on a globe‑trotting quest—from Istanbul and London to France and Washington, D.C.—to track down the terrorists and expose a corrupt CIA deputy director.
Mixing high‑stakes spycraft, psychological tension, and emotional reinvention, Charlie emerges from a basement office to become the spy he never expected to be.
