Synopsis
Jong-su, an aspiring writer, reunites with Hae-mi, a childhood friend he barely remembers. She asks him to take care of her cat while she travels to Africa. Upon her return, she introduces him to Ben, a mysterious and wealthy young man who claims to have an unusual hobby—burning abandoned greenhouses.
As Jong-su grows suspicious of Ben’s true intentions, Hae-mi suddenly disappears, leading Jong-su into a dark and obsessive search for answers. With slow-burning tension, *Burning* explores themes of class struggle, alienation, and the uncertainty of reality, culminating in a haunting and unforgettable climax.
