Synopsis
Denji is a teenage boy left with a mountain of debt after his father’s death. To survive, he works as a devil hunter for the yakuza with the help of his pet devil Pochita, who transforms into chainsaw-like weapons. After being betrayed and killed by the yakuza, Pochita sacrifices himself to save Denji, merging with him and turning him into Chainsaw Man — a human-devil hybrid with deadly chainsaws protruding from his body.
Now part of the Public Safety Devil Hunters, Denji is introduced to a brutal world of devils, hunters, and mysterious allies. As he fights for survival, freedom, and the most basic dreams, Denji’s journey becomes one of bloodshed, sacrifice, and twisted hope. With the line between good and evil blurred, Denji must confront terrifying enemies and his own humanity.
