Synopsis
Set on the Italian Riviera in the 1950s, young sea monster Luca Paguro befriends Alberto and Giulia in the coastal town of Portorosso.
The boys, hiding their aquatic identity, strive to win the annual Portorosso Cup triathlon (swimming, biking, and eating pasta) so they can buy a Vespa and explore the world—all while avoiding suspicion and a local bully, Ercole. The summer of freedom tests their friendship, identity, and courage.
