Synopsis
Teenage sweethearts Dae‑soo and Mi‑ra fall in love at 17 and, despite parental disapproval, start a family. Their son Ah‑reum is born with progeria, a genetic disorder causing extremely accelerated aging.
Now 16, Ah‑reum has the body of an elderly man and limited time to live. He writes a story capturing his parents’ love and his life’s journey as a final gift, while his parents—working a taxi and laundry job—struggle to support him.
A TV feature about Ah‑reum brings public attention and a pen‑pal young girl, but as his health declines, the family confronts mortality with unwavering love and hope.
