Synopsis
A mysterious disease starts spreading in a small rural village, causing violent and inexplicable deaths. Local policeman Jong-goo is drawn into the chaos when his daughter begins exhibiting strange symptoms. As paranoia grows, suspicion falls on a reclusive Japanese man living on the outskirts of town.
